In partnership with the Niagara Historical Society and the Niagara Museum, the British Home Child Group International is proud to announce that a historical plaque is going to be erected in Rye Heritage Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  The plaque, long overdue, is to remember Maria Rye who was the first person to bring children to Canada as part of the child migrant scheme.
